know that some bloggers are not updating old (they love to be like a track their thoughts at any moment in time), but personally I would not have an issue with it all and think it is helpful to do in a number of fronts:

1st Precision – there are times when the things you have written, are simply not true – or is no longer true. Correction of errors or updates to take into account the new circumstances makes your blog for readers about your surfing Archive – everything goes to help improve a blog.

2nd Opinion of change – there are times when the time my thoughts on various topics. While the old post office that you no longer can be interesting reading – it can also affect your reputation. Someone in this position, not knowing that you change your mind and assume that you always think what you’ve done once, unless they find something that your new opinion. Sometimes this is very damaging to your reputation.

3rd Usefulness and user friendliness – sometimes in the old bodies may simply or even “broken” (ie the links do not work more like the other pages). Updating these bodies with updated information and fixing the links (or the updating or deletion) from your computer more useful.

In any case, I expect that all bloggers to update their old positions – but it is the right direction, by filling of key positions in the archives for the update – particularly those who continue to generate traffic in the period.
How to update the old posts

There are a multitude of ways to upgrade the old:

1st Panacea – in many cases, it is easy to replace a connection, fixing a flaw in these cases, I rarely an assessment which is an update after that I do not think this is really the impact of the readers know that it was changed .

2nd Updates – you can see in the above example, that I have two things. First, I have a number of digits halfway through the article. I missed the section in this section is completely clear that it is an update. Secondly, I have a note at the beginning of the agency say that has been updated. I wanted them in the upper part of the post to the reader that the information that there was still topical. I did not want people to see, was in 2006 and think it is no longer valid.

If you have these updates that are more than cosmetic (and where you think that information is important) – it may be useful to a brief message on this subject, a blog to the reader that the current position will be updated.

3rd Remailing – photography on my blog I also regularly old, the information and then update with the current date. I can make on this blog, because the links on this blog do not understand, the date in them (as well as here on ProBlogger), and the remailing not chaining.

4th New message – the latest technology, which I write is a new update, and then post a link to it in an old post. I do this if the updated information is important and deserves a whole new body. In these new posts, you return May in the old post office (so the reader can see how your ideas). It is very useful when you have a new post on a topic that you previously on a link to the old line of readers to the new order they receive to update the information.
