How do I make money BloggingBelow you find my last update on how I make money blogging (which is something that I post on every few months – even if it was one in six months, since I did).

Also note – I go into much detail about how I make money blogging Jhon in the book.
How much money do I do from blogs?

I ask you how much my blog I am on a regular basis. These days I will not go into details about it – all I will say is that it continues to be well over six figures a year (less than seven figures). What you find here are my income Streams – ranked from highest to lowest incomes.

Keep in mind that this is a summary of all my blogs (and not just Jhon). It does not include income that I earn b5media where I am paid a salary as vice-president training.

I hope you find it useful to see the mix and the diversity of ways that I earn money from blogs.
1. AdSense

AdsenseDespite not use it here in more Jhon I continue to use AdSense with real effect on my other blogs. Although I use the AdSense referrals and their search function, it is normal to their ads that work best for me. I have them all together to show the image and text ads and find that 250 x 300 pixels ads more effective (usually with a mixture of design).
2. Chitika

ChitikaLast time I did this kind of abstract Chitika ranked # 1. This time it was overtaken by AdSense – not because Chitika slipped into how much he earned, but because AdSense is past and also because I’ve replaced some Chitika ads with WidgetBucks. Chitika offers a series of announcements I have experience with. I find their work better eMiniMalls and production units are also good. Shoplincs their product is not as effective once it has done for me – especially because I have been promoting less led to this traffic. The more time that I was using Chitika they won me over a quarter of a million dollars!
3. Amazon Associates

Amazon-Logo-1
This was one of my big movers in the past 12 months. I used to do odd few dollars there – but lately it has become an important income for me (as I have already shared). This quarter, it exceeded my TLA third most revenue – largely on the back of me directing traffic to Amazon for my product related sites – mainly digital cameras. While the Commission on the camera is only 4% this adds when people you refer buy higher ticket items.
4. Announcement of private sale / Sponsorship

private-ad-salesThis ad includes a turnover of 125 x 125 ads here at Jhon and a couple of private deals announced that I had with the authors on the blog of my camera (including sponsorship with Canon, Kodak and Adobe). This area has increased since the last time also because of the new design by Jhon and expanded our sales team at b5 selling ads from Jhon for me.
5. Text Link Ads

TLA TlaThe income plunged slightly in recent months simply because I made the decision to stop selling them here at Jhon and most of my other blogs. The reason was that I wanted to put more emphasis on the sale of 125 pixels instead of ads and found that the ads I have been attracting are not relevant to this site as they could have been. As it turns out that this could have been a good initiative as it seems Google has been penalizing blogs are the latest.
6. Jhon job

The Jobboardheader employment Jhon here to continue to grow each month the number of advertisements that are purchased. This allowed me to invest more of the money they had earned little in return get a new rear boards and review them. It struck me today that the Boards are now making around $ 1,000 per month in revenue, which is pretty good considering that they are now so low maintenance to run! I come from a team developing a new brief to expand employment in the coming months so stay tuned for new features coming that could see this increase in income and, more importantly for him to become even more useful to readers.
7. Various Affiliate Programs

various subsidiary enforce a variety programsI of affiliate programs on my blogs – most of which bring in small sums of money that does not really warrant a category of their own. These include – - Digital Photography Secrets (a camera technique series), Photo Pro Secrets (a photoshop), Yaro’s Blog Mastermind Mentoring Program, SEO Book (Aaron’s legendary resource). This area is to continue to grow during the quarter with me have had reasonable conversion of the promotion of excellent teaching courses sells.
8. Various Advertising

various networksI announcement also play with a number of other advertising networks. Some I use as a test to see if I should consider here – and some are only advertising that operate in the background on some of my little blogs. These include AuctionAds, Feedburner RSS ads, Vizu (a poll advertising system), and Konter Bidvertiser. Together, they are not big gains for me – not because they are not good, but because I do not use them a lot (a blog can run so many ads on this) .

I think that covers most of it. Since the last quarter, I have also been experimenting with WidgetBucks as well as another ad system that is still a closed beta test. I am sure that WidgetBucks will be in the next quarter of the list because I’m on good returns so far. In fact, his current salary, there debut at the number of at least 4 on the list and perhaps even at number 3.
How should I spend?

As mentioned last time – I do not spend much money to put it in my income. I have a few blogs costs (accommodation, etc) and play a limited amount of advertising (AdWords and StumbleUpon), but rely more heavily on word of mouth and organic revenue by pulling my blogs. I also have some costs to pay writers on a couple of blogs – but they are not a huge part of total revenues each quarter.
